An Outstanding Social Media Makeover

When Lolly was established twenty years ago, we couldn’t think of a better location than in delightful Dorset. Two decades on, our love for the county has only grown, so we were thrilled when Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty recently asked us to rejuvenate their social media strategy.

The Dorset AONB is a collection of stunning landscapes, currently celebrating over 60 years of its designation as a nationally important and protected landscape. A line was drawn around nearly half of Dorset’s landscape from the vales in the west, along the South Dorset Ridgeway, right across to Poole Harbour in the east. This line marked the Dorset AONB, a designation which, alongside the National Parks, make up some of Britain’s finest countryside spots, protected for future generations.

The brief was to guide the Dorset AONB in re-discovering their reason for showcasing their work and message across public platforms, with the aim of entertaining, inspiring and educating audiences, through a renewed approach to the ‘Big 6’ social media platforms.

We have thoroughly enjoyed putting our social media skills to use in giving the Dorset AONB a bright and delicious social strategy makeover, and we can’t wait to see the appreciation for our wonderful county grow, along with AONB’s audience and engagement.
