At Lolly, we love working with organisations that make a genuine difference, so when The Watch Project, a local mental health charity, approached us for a new website, we knew it was a project we would feel honoured to be a part of.
The Watch Project carries out vital work supporting people facing some of life’s toughest challenges. Their previous website had served them well, but as the organisation continued to evolve, it was clear they needed a digital platform that better reflected who they are today, what they do and the impact they make every day.
As they work across a wide range of services and support programmes, creating a clear user journey was essential. We wanted visitors to quickly understand the organisation’s purpose, access the support they need, and learn more about the incredible work and courses being delivered across Somerset and neighbouring counties.
In collaboration with the team, we reviewed the existing site, identified opportunities for improvement and mapped out a structure that would be easier to navigate and more engaging for users.
We focused on creating a clean, modern design that feels welcoming, accessible and informative. Strong imagery, clear messaging and intuitive navigation all work together to ensure visitors can easily find the information they need to help and support them.
We also concentrated on the practical features that make a real difference to how The Watch Project operates day to day. Alongside the new website, we carried out search engine optimisation (SEO) to help more people discover the organisation when they need support most. We also implemented a seamless booking system integrated with Stripe, making it quick and easy for users to find, book and pay for the courses and services that matter to them. These enhancements not only improve the user experience but also streamline administration, giving the team more time to focus on the vital work they do in the community.
The result is a website that feels more confident, more engaging and far more representative of the organisation today. Built with usability, accessibility and mobile responsiveness at its core, we have ensured the experience is seamless whether users are visiting on desktop, tablet or mobile.
The new website provides The Watch Project with a strong digital foundation for the future, helping them communicate their mission more effectively, connect with their audiences and showcase the incredible impact of their work. And most importantly, it puts the people they support at the heart of the experience.
