October already? The saying is true – time certainly flies when you’re having fun. And fun we most certainly had, ending in true Clarence Court style!
The last few months has seen us working behind the scenes with Clarence Court where they rocked their role as the first ever headline sponsor for the Royal Berkshire Show.
Assisting with everything from event management and logistics, to design of gazebos, flags, signage, hen arcs and ever-so-tempting literature to take home, to stand styling, data capture, social media and filming, it was most certainly an event for the whole team to be apart of.
The show is a true country affair, the last of the season, and together our aim was to bring the fun of the fair to the event – think local village fete and fun-for-all-the-family games with a splash of royal sparkle.
As children tried their hand on Berkshire’s first ever ostrich egg shy (it was the star of the show!), competed in a traditional egg and spoon race and styled gold crowns and rosettes, adults relaxed on hanging egg chairs and hay bales with a glass of champagne and complimentary canapés.
Handmade feather bunting and branded feather flags lined the skies, while wildflowers – the flowers the birds are free to roam in on farms – boarded the stand.
A handful of birds came along to dazzle guests, staying in hen houses specially made for the event. Each house annotated with fun facts about the birds and details of the beautiful eggs they lay.
Visitors to the stand were spoilt with recipe cards to try at home, vouchers for their next purchase and a Fortnum’s competition to enter.
Heritage at the heart of the brand, their birds and their eggs, the concept was to celebrate agriculture, farming families and the local community in a traditional, fun and inclusive way. All while increasing brand awareness, reaching news audiences and the opportunity to taste trial.
See for yourself just how cracking the weekend was here.
