A digital wonderland
We dedicated a delightful 72 hours to digital design, copywriting, research, and social media wizardry. Our mission? To create a digital wonderland filled with static posts, reels, stories, and carousels that captivated the hearts of fairgoers far and wide.
Pre-event buzz
Starting May 20th, we dove headfirst into pre-event excitement. Armed with cameras and creativity, we visited the picturesque grounds of Sherborne Castle to capture some all-important pre-event content. Our social media team responded to every query, engaged with comments, and reshared stories from partners and traders, creating a ripple of anticipation that spread across the locality – and digital landscape.
Day of the Fair
On May 27th, our team headed to the Fair and mingled with the crowds. We collected vox-pops (those fun little interviews), snapped photos, and recorded videos to share the joy and magic of the fair in real-time. The result? A digital scrapbook that brought the fair to life for those who couldn’t attend, and acted as a lasting memory for those who did.
Posts that popped
Our content didn’t just sit there; it danced, it twirled, it popped! Our Facebook and Instagram posts reached over 23,000 people combined, with thousands of impressions and plenty of interactions, reactions, and shares. Each post was a step into the engaging agricultural world of SCCF, inviting people to join the fun.
Ads that delivered
We also worked some digital marketing magic with our ad campaigns, which generated over 460,000 impressions and thousands of clicks. The super low cost per click on Google had us doing a happy dance, and the conversions from our ads significantly contributed to the fair’s success. Our campaigns reached audiences far and wide with a rosette-worthy, click-through rate.
Tickets, please!
We’re thrilled that our digital know-how resulted in a boost in ticket sales. Presale tickets jumped by a whopping 38% from 2023 to 2024! This uptick proves that when you mix creative content with strategic advertising, you get a recipe for success. The increase in presale tickets was a testament to the excitement and anticipation we managed to generate.
