McCarthy & Stone, the UK’s leading developer and manager of retirement communities have ended the year where community really has been at their heart, with the launch of their new Charity Foundation.
Already raising over 600,000 in the past three years for organisations including Beanstalk and Royal Voluntary Service, and supporting charities for over 40 years, the organisation decided now is the perfect time to make their fundraising efforts long term.
With their ongoing achievements, the Foundation was naturally the next step in helping to expand communities in need. With the events of 2020, it seemed the right time for them to invest in supporting the most vulnerable brackets of society. The pandemic showed just how important communities are, and how together we can help them thrive in the future.
To support the launch, Lolly were delighted to assist with designing and building a website.
The creation of the site aims to help McCarthy & Stone continue to build on supporting three key areas of society: the health and wellbeing of older people, the educational challenges of young people, and creating and enhancing community spaces. The Foundation will deliver volunteering opportunities, a grants programme and charity partnerships.
We’re over the moon to see the launch of this new Foundation, as we have worked very closely with McCarthy & Stone over the past three years to ignite intergenerational relationships and build on the wider community.
